about

Egyptian night is a composition of mine in the oriental style, set on the popular Arab/Turkish rhythm Tchiftetelli in 8 beats. It features the classical Arab flute Ney, the lute Ud and various traditional Arabic percussion. A very atmospheric piece best suited for the veil dance.
