Desert Rose is composed on a pentatonic scale common to the African, Indian and Far East traditions. It uses 2 uneven 10 beats rhythms (2-3-2-3) the first being the Indian Jhaptal and the second the Middle Eastern/Turkish Samai Jurjuna.
