lyrics

BELLS OF FREEDOM

Who shall toll the bells of freedom?
Who will sing the songs of love?
Then we’ll dance the waltz of living,
With our friend the vagabond.

People kill and die for freedom
Jailing others on their way,
Making laws, controlling kingdoms,
Lie and tell us what to say.
Making lows controlling kingdoms,
Telling us to which god we pray.

Righteous folks of every color
Every faith and every creed,
Spend their gold, their time and power,
Standardizing a new breed.

Let them fight their senseless battles
Speak no evil as they fall.
Be yourself , the spirit magnet
In the bright light you stand tall.
Be your self the spirit magnet
Answering the cosmic call.

Who shall toll those bells of freedom?
Who will cry out songs of love?
Gentle steps,and sacred whispers,
Take the sky my peaceful dove.

Can I be the one to ring them?
Can my tears create those songs?
Can I give my greatness power
To fulfill my honored goals?
Then we’ll start the waltz of living
With our friend the vagabond.
