Desert Gypsy

from Caravan trail by Anello Capuano

about

Desert Gypsy is my tribute to the wonderful Afghan/Central Asia music I've heard since the early 70s. it features 2 sections, the first in 6 beats and the second in 7 beats. Many instruments from all over the oriental world : the Afghani Robab and the turkish Cura Saz, the Indian Sitar, the French Begpipe, the Indian Murchang (jaw's harp) and among the percussion the Indian Tabla, the Udu and the Iranian Zarb. I know of people who choose Desert Gypsy as the main theme of their wedding ceremony!!!
